Come, Bless the Lord; A Song of Ascents.
1 Come, bless the Lord, all you servants of the Lord,
who stand by night in the house of the Lord!
2 Lift up your hands to the holy place and bless the Lord!
3 May the Lord bless you from Zion,
He who made heaven and earth!
This is the last psalm in the Songs of Ascents (120–134). We journey to church. We arrive. We enter. Finally, we worship and receive God’s gifts as He serves us.
May our worship be filled with joy and thanksgiving.
We pray: Heavenly Father, when I come to worship You, I pray my posture is one of humility, but my praise is joyous and heart-felt. Amen.
