Hope Youth
During the Grow hour on Sunday mornings at 9:45am, students from 6th grade to 12th grade will meet upstairs. Jr. High youth (6th, 7th, & 8th grade) meet in the north west upstairs room, with Sr. High youth (9th, 10th, 11th, & 12th grade) meeting in the central upstairs youth room. Both groups will use LIVE Daily curriculum and engage in Jesus-Centered discussion to ground them in faith, get them talking, change the world, and make disciples around them.
Youth meet on the 1st Sunday of the month for breakout groups by age and gender. Youth meet together on the 3rd Sunday of the month for youth group at the church.
Youth are able to attend confirmation classes offered throughout the year. Please visit with church staff to inquire about Hope’s confirmation process.
Hope youth are able to attend Church Camp, District Gatherings, National Youth Gatherings, retreats and Mission Trips.
Women of Hope
Adult bible study classes are held on Sunday mornings during the Grow Hour from 9:45am to 10:45am at the church. Different topics and studies are offered throughout the year for adults to attend.
Our Women of Hope meet once a month for an LWML meeting with devotion. The group typically meets on a Sunday evening at the church, date TBD. The Women of Hope also hold a weekly Wednesday bible study at 9:30am at Hope in the overflow room. All ladies are welcome to join these events!
Our Women of Hope are involved in the community through volunteering and collecting items for local nonprofits and ministry partners!
School
Hope Lutheran School is the largest ministry of Hope. It is a daily ministry through the church aimed to provide a safe faith based learning environment for children. For more information on the school please visit the school page.
Hope Kids
Children age 3 through 5th grade meet on Sunday mornings from 9:45am to 10:45am during the Grow hour upstairs at the top of the north east stairwell in the Hope Kids area!
During this time, children are introduced to a christ centered bible story through song, puppet show, and devotion! Children will then break out into 3 age groups to dive deeper into the lesson with discussion, crafts, and activities!
Hope Kids also meet throughout the year for special events and opportunities to Grow, Unite, Serve, and Share!
Men’s Ministry
Adult bible study classes are held on Sunday mornings during the Grow Hour from 9:45am to 10:45am at the church. Different topics and studies are offered throughout the year for adults to attend.
Hope’s Men’s Ministry meets every second Saturday of the month at 8:30am at Rudy’s BBQ for the men’s breakfast. During this time, men have a time of devotion, fellowship, and enjoy great food! The Men’s Ministry also meets the 4th Thursday of each month for Tapping the Faith here at Hope in the Bus Barn. All men are welcome to join these events!
Hope’s Men’s Ministry hosts various outreach activites throughout the year to benefit our surrounding community.
Outreach & Missions
Hope High Plains worships in Farwell Texas every 4th Sunday at 4pm at Annie & Martha’s Bakery/God Father’s Pizza.
Hope Lutheran strongly supports local organization, Lubbock Impact, Upbring Neighborhood House, Upbring Foster in Texas, The Lutheran Student Center, and Texas Boys & Girls Ranch. The people of Hope volunteer as a whole, individually, along with donating and committing their time to our mission partners to help the community of Lubbock.
