Day 18 - Joy

Sometimes, we get gifts that surprise us, like socks with pandas on them. It might make us go, "Huh?" But just like that, there were also special gifts given to Jesus long ago. They were gold, frankincense, and myrrh. These gifts were more than just shiny presents. They were like special symbols telling us important things about Jesus. The gold showed that Jesus is a mighty king. The frankincense shows he is like a special priest who helps us. And the myrrh showed he would give up his life to save us. So, even though these gifts were unusual, they helped us understand who Jesus is and why he came to us. And the best gift is Jesus, who brings us joy and love.
